Murray Grainger (accordion, keyboards) - trained at the Royal Academy of Music and has worked in all areas of the music world. He has performed with many of the major orchestras and at the BBC Promenade series, the Edinburgh International Music Festival and the Cheltenham International Music Festival.


Steáfán Hannigan (Pipes, Whistles, Bodhran etc)  - All-Britain uilleann pipe champion and virtuoso bodhran player, plus a multitude of other instruments including bouzouki, whistles & flute. A founder member of Sin É he has also worked with Band of Hope, Lammas, Uriah Heep, Gary Barlow, Waz, Afro-Celt Sound System , Bill Jones, Loreena McKennit and Tickled Pink.


Cecilia le Poer Power (vocals, keyboards)- a seasoned performer and session musician principally as a soloist with several groups at venues ranging from the Glastonbury Festival, upstairs at Ronnie Scott’s to the Barbican Hall. Her interpretation of traditional material is up there with the best, and her song writing also dovetails in perfectly with the band’s other material.



Dave Neville (drum kit)- is a very versatile performer, having played with orchestras such as the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, in many bands from jazz trios to retro punk bands, in west end musicals and has toured extensively from Europe to Indonesia.


Nye Parsons (acoustic bass, electric bass)- growing up with wide musical interests and a classical training on the double bass, Nye gained great experience touring Europe and the Middle East with various jazz ensembles when he also started performing traditional and contempary folk music with the Restless Natives who later formed into the Deportees.


Saskia Tomkins (fiddle, electric fiddle)-  has an impressive record of performances in classical, folk & jazz circles, having worked with, among others, Sin E, Shiva Nova, Sonja Kristina, Uriah Heep, Laurie Anderson, Robb Johnson, Bill Jones, Caroline Lavelle and ceilidh band Moondance.
